10 Deep Party

This year 10 Deep did it B.I.G. and hosted their holiday party at Element on 225 E. Houston St with special appearances by Kid Cudi, A-Trak, Kid Sister, and M.I.A.
Once again, it was cool getting up with a few friends throwing back some FREE, yes FREE liq, and getting straught disrespectful on the dance floor. Lord knows with all the madness going on we all need some refuge.

I truly felt bad for the people behind us. Ya'll should be ashamed of yourselves! SMH Basically let all of Manhattan cut in line. Ya'll are some fools. *Shrugs shoulders and keeps it moving.

This is Crazy

As some of you already know, Im a huge fan of original/sampled beats. Yeah, when Diddy and the Bad Boy family were runnin' shit I was as happy as Cubans seeing the Miami shore. Check this shit out. This is ill!

SEMTEX TV - KANYE WEST UK INTERVIEW [FULL LENGTH] from DJ SEMTEX on Vimeo.

I dont know about this last album, I know everything changes, but at what cost? To each his own I guess, but im sure you all would agree that his past albums were much better. I feel like I'm in an 80's futuristic space battle listening to this. Hopefully, he'll go back to what he does best.

80/20

Been a while, but im back! Been on that grind paper chasing and that occasional rump shaking, but it was nice to drop the pen and paper, checkbook, and just let it all unravel with a few homies. 80/20 people! That's what its all about 80% hard work 20% of enjoying what your hardwork allows you to do. It was good seeing all of my homies all in one room..

Me and "Magic"

Think about it.

Today was a super relaxed day. I sat back and just let this movie we call life fast forward, got comfy, and popped the corn nuts (ranch...yes, ranch) into my mouth. Today was a day where i was supposed to give thanks to everything i possess, everything i accomplished, everything I've been through and still be able to talk about. Sat there and thought about it for a while and came up with a mental list.

1) First and foremost Health! Just turning on the news and seeing commercials on H.I.V/Aids, all of those ironic commercials on how fun having Herpes can be (you know what I'm talking about), all of those pharma co drugs for various diseases even restless leg syndrome? Are you serious? Lol makes one think damn "Thank GOD, I don't have that shit!" and makes one think of how lucky one is.
2) Actually having a job, and having enough money to actually do/buy things without actually giving them much thought. As we all know, this economy is no joke!
3) Friends and fam. Even though I could honestly say I have about a handful of friends who I hold extremely closely. Lost some friends through the years. Some through accidents R.I.P. Bond, some through stages we all go through (some are still in the stages I left them at), and some from just losing touch. It's till something that I'm glad to say I have with all of the shiftiness going on today.
4) Meeting someone who I can honestly say will be there in the long run. Someone who not only possesses the same interests, crazy fashion sense, and is as materialistic as me (sorry, you know you are) is someone who I can vibe with on a much deeper level. "Lord Willin'".... Yes, you heard it here first ladies... sorry, but the jersey (#23) is hanging up in the rafters.
5) This upcoming project which we have been working on is finally off of the ground and will be coming out sooner than you think. So once again, be on the lookout.

So damn, after dreading this Hallmark, Rape and pillage, historically incorrect day, I actually was able to see through all of the turkey, pernil (spanish cats know what I'm talking about), fam and cut down to the bare essentials. "What are you honestly thankful for?"

Leave you with something to think about. "A man should look for what is, and not for what he thinks should be"- Albert Einstein

Back to the Daily Grind!

Just got back from a mini 7 day vaca from LA last night, and I'm already back on my grind! Just got back from running a few errands and a lunch meeting discussing a few more ideas on the collaborative tee effort with my partner in crime Cez (We'll be releasing a few limited tees in a few weeks. Be on the lookout for those).

So I finally have time to sit back and think about everything that went on. Where do I start? We did it B.I.G. We did everything except Mariah Milano and Alexis Texas (Look 'em up haha)

I guess a few pics will help. Few Highlights.

Flying over Minnesota. They dont call it the land of 10,000 lakes for no reason. The connecting flight was horrible. Never again, will I do a connecting flight unless it has to be done due to Osama Bin Hiding boarding on that bitch, I'll be off it quicker than you can say ".!" But yeah, I have never seen so much hunting gear nor mullets in my life. Felt like I was being punked. I was asking myself "Where the fuck are you Ashton?"

Lunch with the Mrs. and her "Biffle" in Pasadena was dope. After that 6 hr flight, you're damn right i had to get down with the Asahi. Oh and the sushi was bomb too!

Los Angeles Zoo was cool. I thought being 30 mins away from the Bronx Zoo would make me Crocodile Dundee, but I saw some cool ass animals.

Had to take the picture of the monkey's ass. .. the 5 yr old in me came out for a brief second... you know i giggled doing it too

Pool at Dave & Busters with Ang and her man was cool. Ang's man: "I cant play" riiiight! Who were you trying to hustle kid? Cant hustle a hustler. Haha. He put in work, beat me and "Crystal Stick Crystal" with his eyes closed.

V.I.P. at the lupe concert (ohhh you thought i was joking when i said we did it B.I.G.?) We made history that night, first concert at the nokia club, correction: first SOLD OUT concert at the nokia club! Hey Champ opened up for Lupe, never heard of 'em, but their shit is ill! Peep 'em .. Oh and the V.I.P. room was amazing!

Got in a few races..Crystal kicked my ass! She does it every weekend though (even though she fronts like she doesn't)

Still #1 though!

Ruger
Ang & her man rocking the crooks!

She thought I forgot about the races. I want my rematch!

Bungie jumping was insane-o... I was thinking "Damn, Am I really about to this shit?"
All in all... I had a great vaca... Which wouldnt have been possible without Jasmine, Ang, and I-Breezy!
